The honest short answer
For a Friday or Saturday night in October, book as early as you can. The Festhalle is at 1074 Edelweiss Strasse, just a short walk from downtown Helen. Midweek is the budget option: from October 1 through November 1 the Festhalle is open nightly, and Monday–Thursday admission is $10 for adults.
Location beats amenities on festival nights
The question that matters is whether you can walk to 1074 Edelweiss Strasse. Anything within the village means you never touch festival parking at all; anything a drive away means joining the evening shuffle after a long day.
